Two Man Band: Bad Veins. Rocking the house at Modified Arts Gallery and Music Venue. Musicians are Benjamin Davis (Vocals/Guitar/Keyboard) and Sebastien Schultz (Drums). Many local music fans have been worried that the indie music scene in downtown Phoenix is now "over." This is due to a recent Modified Arts ownership change. However, apart from the fact that about $1.2 billion dollars has been invested into this same area within the last 3 years, there are already 10 music shows being booked by the new owners beginning January 2010. So, no Modified is not closing down shop for good. Although, there is going to be a greater focus on show casing art work in general. Modified has a max capacity of only 150 people after all as well as a horse shoe shaped layout. So if I were you I would keep my ears open for new up and coming music venues in addition to the shows still to be held at Modified Arts.
